Hibernian have sealed a triple transfer swoop on transfer deadline day.Hibernian have sealed a triple swoop on transfer deadline day.
Chris Hogg, Ivan Sproule and Amadou Konte have all signed permanent deals for Hibs.
Central defender Hogg (pictured), 20, has arrived from Ipswich and has been a long-term target for Hibs boss Tony Mowbray - who knows him well from his days at Portman Road.
Sproule has signed from Irish outfit Institute after a trial at Easter Road, while striker Konte has come in from Cambridge United.
"We have managed to sign three new players who over time I believe will challenge for first-team positions," said Mowbray.
"They give us an added degree of flexibility in the all-important second part of the season.
"We need to remember that we have a young squad here at Hibernian.
"Over a season, the physical demands and mental strain on young players to keep producing week in, week out can be pretty tough.
"Strengthening the squad was therefore a priority and I believe Chris, Ivan and Amadou will do that."
