Hoffenheim manager Markus Gisdol says that Fabian Johnson will leave the club on a Bosman free transfer at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old former Wolfsburg defender had been offered a new contract at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena but rejected the deal.
Speaking to Deutsche Presseagentur, Gisdol said that Johnson will join another team.
He said: "Fabian Johnson will leave our club in the summer. He has turned down our offer to sign a new contract.
"Since summer we tried hard to keep Fabian at our club. However he has now decided to join another club."
Johnson has made 13 appearances for the Bundesliga club this season and was linked with a move to Crystal Palace in January.
