Cottagers boss waiting to receive work permit for midfielder

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is waiting to discover if Kagiso Dikgacoi will be granted a work permit after agreeing a deal for the South Africa midfielder. The 24-year-old sufficiently impressed Cottagers boss Hodgson in a recent trial to be offered a contract with the Premier League club. Golden Arrows, Dikgacoi's club before his arrival in England, have decided to allow the defensive midfielder to leave. However, the move will not become official until the 26-time South Africa cap is given international clearance. Hodgson is hopeful there will be no complications, saying: "We reached an agreement with the club. "But it will have to go to a tribunal because we have to apply for a work permit."
