Crystal Palace winger Jobi McAnuff has handed in a transfer request, skysports.com can confirm.
The 24-year-old is known to have attracted interest throughout the summer from some Premiership clubs.
Now the former Cardiff and MK Dons star is looking to move on in order to seal a move to the top-flight.
The player's representative Tony Finnigan confirmed McAnuff had handed in a transfer request.
"He has asked to leave, he has handed in his request, that I can confirm but I can't confirm whether it has been accepted or not," he told skysports.com.
"What I know is that this is purely on football, nothing to do with money at all.
"Peter Taylor [Palace manager] completely understands as he was a footballer and so he knows what position the lad is in.
"Jobi has had seven years in The Championship and he wants to test himself at the highest level."
