Barnsley have swooped to sign Sam Togwell from Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old has penned a two-year deal after The Tykes agreed terms with their Championship rivals.
Togwell has only played a handful of first team games for Palace, although he has built up extensive experience during loan spells at Oxford, Northampton and Port Vale.
Meanwhile, Barnsley are also understood to be in talks with Doncaster midfielder Michael McIndoe about a move to Oakwell.
