MILLWALL have been handed a massive boost with the news that star strikers Richard Sadlier and Neil Harris both came through a reserve outing against local rivals Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
Sadlier, (pictured) who has only managed one substitute appearance for The Lions' all term, played 45 minutes of the game against Palace which ended 1-1.
The Republic of Ireland hit-man has been troubled by a hip injury since the end of last season, and underwent surgery on the problem in November.
After coming through this reserve outing however, the 23-year-old will hope that a first-team return is now in his sights.
Meanwhile, Harris played 75 minutes of the same game, and also suffered no adverse reactions.
The 25-year-old has not featured for Mark McGhee's men since an FA Cup tie against Cambridge on January 4th.
Dennis Wise also appeared for Millwall, and got his side's goal, while Steven Thomson replied for Palace.
