GRIMSBY TOWN have completed the double signing of Jamie Pollock and Crystal Palace striker Steve Kabba.

Former Middlesbrough midfielder Pollock had been on trial at Blundell Park and has joined The Mariners on non-contract terms.

The 28-year-old will not be involved in first team action immediately as he has missed the majority of pre-season with a shin injury.

Pollock, who left Crystal Palace in the summer, has stated that he will play for nothing in a bid to earn a permanent deal at Grimsby.

Meanwhile, Kabba (pictured) has joined the club on a three-month loan from Crystal Palace.

The 21-year-old has featured in Palace's opening three games and he scored in the opening day win at Preston.

However, manager Trevor Francis has decided to let him leave on loan and he should now make his Grimsby debut on Saturday in their clash with Bradford.
