Plymouth goalkeeper Luke McCormick has not broken his finger, the club have confirmed.
There were worries the 31-year-old had suffered a fracture in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Morecambe but a scan has provided Argyle with a huge injury boost. McCormick just suffered bruising and swelling of a finger while Kelvin Mellor's damage shoulder is also not as bad as first feared.
