Reid happy with Plymouth

Plymouth striker Reuben Reid has reassured the club's supporters that he will not be leaving in January.

The forward, who joined the Pilgrims in the summer after a successful loan spell from Yeovil, has now scored 13 goals this season after netting a double in Saturday's 3-0 win over Dagenham. And with the transfer window looming Reid explained how happy he is at Home Park. "You never know in football," he told the club's official website. "But I can tell you I'll be here for the season for sure, definitely. 100%. "The manager here has given me - I won't say a new lease of life, because it could have happened elsewhere - but he has probably been the main factor why I have been able to get that consistency. "He's backed me in times when I wasn't so hot, when no-one's talking about you. "All of a sudden, people are talking about you. I've got a lot of time for him for doing that. When I first came back to the club 24 months ago, it was a struggle for a lot of the players, myself included. I got a lot of criticism."
