Plymouth suffer Nelson blow

Plymouth captain Curtis Nelson will be sidelined for the best part of a month with an elbow injury he sustained at the weekend.

The Pilgrims centre-back damaged his left elbow in their 3-2 win over Northampton on Saturday but scans showed he did not suffer a fracture. Argyle physio Paul Atkinson told the Plymouth Herald: "The elbow is badly swollen, and the swelling is in soft tissue around the joint. This impacts on the mobility and strength of the elbow, which he obviously needs. "We will not be able to make a full assessment until the swelling has gone down, but there is no fracture and the prognosis at this stage is recovery will take three to four weeks."
