Plymouth defender Guy Branston has returned from injury with a run out in the reserves.
Branston had been out since suffering a calf injury during the pre-season friendly draw at Bath City on July 16 but featured as an Argyle XI lost 2-0 to Yeovil on Tuesday afternoon.
The 34-year-old centre-half played for an hour before being replaced by first-year apprentice Tom Moxham.
Former Tottenham midfielder Dean Parrett also lined up for Plymouth as a trialist in the behind-closed-doors fixture at Huish Park.
Parrett, who had a loan spell with Argyle during the 2010/11 season, played the whole game - as did Argentinian winger Andres Gurrieri after recently recovering from a thigh strain.
