Sky Sports understands Brighton are lining up a move for Plymouth goalkeeper Christian Walton.
The 17-year-old is highly regarded at Plymouth and has attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs, including Fulham.
Walton, who has been at Plymouth since the age of 10, has yet to play a first-team game for the League Two club, but he has impressed in their youth sides.
Brighton have now expressed an interest in the shot-stopper and they have taken him on trial so that Gus Poyet and his coaching staff can cast an eye over him.
If Walton impresses during his training stint he could make a move to the AMEX Stadium with Plymouth likely to sell for the right price.
