Carl Fletcher praised his Plymouth side's fighting spirit after they rallied from behind to record a 3-2 win at Morecambe.

The hosts led two-nil with just 20 minutes remaining thanks to goals from Jack Redshaw and Richard Brodie, from the penalty spot, and looked set for their first home win of the season.

But a Ross Jenkins wonder strike and two penalties from Warren Feeney handed Argyle a memorable League Two victory on Saturday - their first on their travels this season.

Boss Fletcher said: "I have got to give the lads a lot of praise because they showed great belief all the way through the game despite being two-nil down.

"I thought we bossed the game in the first half and was really disappointed to be a goal down because we deserved batter. To then go two-nil so soon in the second half was a real blow and we lost our way a bit after that.

"But we kept at it and Ross Jenkins scored a superb goal to get us back into the game and I thought we were terrific from then on, I can't praise the lads enough for the way they stuck to the task to get the three points."
