Barnet have signed midfielder Olly Lee, the son of former Newcastle and England midfielder Rob Lee.

The 20-year-old, who started his career with West Ham, already has experience in League Two having enjoyed loan spells with Dagenham and Southend. His contract with the Hammers was not renewed, although he feels he has learnt a lot from his time with the east London club, telling the club's official website: "At West Ham they teach you how to play football properly - passing, movement, other areas that help you become a better all-round footballer. "Obviously, with the club's style of football they are looking to introduce here, growing up at West Ham will definitely help that and help me fit into Barnet's style." On his move to Underhill, Lee added: "I definitely think we can push for promotion, why not?" Bees boss Mark Robson, who has known Lee since his time at West Ham, said: "I'm very pleased to welcome Olly to Barnet. He's a very good footballer who is comfortable on the ball and has a wide range of passing at his disposal."
