Chenoweth pens new Argyle deal

Goalkeeper Ollie Chenoweth has extended his contract with Plymouth Argyle for another year.

The new deal, which keeps the young goalkeeper at Home Park until June 2013, caps a remarkable turnaround in Chenoweth's career on the south coast. The 20-year-old was released by the Pilgrims last summer after relegation to League Two, only to re-sign with the club in December following Romain Larrieu's retirement. Chenoweth was sent out on loan to Truro City before making his league debut for Argyle in a 2-2 draw at Morecambe in April. Midfielder Joe Lennox has also put pen to paper on a short-term deal, with striker Warren Feeney agreeing a one-year extension earlier on Friday.
