Chadwick stays with Pilgrims

Striker Nick Chadwick has completed a permanent move to Plymouth from Blue Square Premier outfit Stockport.

The 29-year-old rejoined the Pilgrims on loan in November, and has scored three times in six games since his return to Home Park. Chadwick has now signed for Argyle until the summer of 2013 on a free transfer and he was ecstatic to become a full-time Pilgrim for a second time after spending more than three years at Plymouth between 2005 and 2008. "I'm delighted to have signed," he said in a statement. "When I first came back I said I would see how it goes, and it's gone really well. "I'm delighted the club has been able to facilitate me and my family coming down. I'm looking forward to the challenge, onwards and upwards. "I would like to wish Stockport all the best for the rest of the season. It is a good club, but I couldn't turn down the possibility of league football."
