Plymouth caretaker-boss Carl Fletcher is unconcerned that potential new chairman James Brent knows little about football.
Fletcher met Brent after Argyle's first victory of the season - against Macclesfield on Saturday.
And the veteran midfielder was impressed by Brent's honesty and ambition.
"I would rather him say that, than come in and say he knows loads of stuff and starts changing it, when he doesn't," he said.
"There are enough chairmen in the country that do that - who have their own point of views and ideas on things.
"Even from the beginning, way back in March, he was probably the right man to take it over. It's a shame we wasted so much time on someone who wasn't acceptable."
