Stockport County's on-loan striker George Donnelly is keen to make a permanent switch to the League Two club.
The young forward, on loan from Plymouth Argyle, impressed whilst at Edgeley Park last season and has scored twice in four games so far this term.
With his future at Plymouth looking bleak, the 22-year-old has confirmed that he is keen to stay at Stockport on a permanent basis.
"I would definitely love to stay here," Donnelly told skysports.com. "I am really happy at the club and hopefully we will be able to make it happen.
"I would imagine that if I don't stay here I would be looking to move on anyway, as I cannot see myself going back to Plymouth, so hopefully they can sort something out with Stockport so that I can stay here.
"I was glad to get the chance to come back here because I enjoyed my time here last season and I know a lot of the lads here from last year.
"It's just great to be at a club where I feel really wanted and more importantly to be getting games and being involved every day."
