Parry happy to bring in powerful striker
Tranmere Rovers have snapped up former Leeds United striker Enoch Showunmi on a two-year contract.
Showunmi had been available on a free transfer after leaving Falkirk at the end of last season, having only moved to Scotland at the start of the year.
The 28-year-old has now accepted a deal with Tranmere and manager Les Parry is delighted to have brought the Nigeria international to Prenton Park.
Parry told the club's official website: "I'm really pleased to be able to bring Enoch to the club.
"He's a powerful striker who will bring something different to the players we've already got at the club.
"He's excellent at bringing team-mates into play and comfortable on the ball, and he will be a great addition to our squad."
