Barry Fry reveals loan moves

Peterborough are closing in on the loan signings of West Brom forward Reuben Reid and Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore, according to director of football Barry Fry. Striker Reid, 21, has only made four Championship appearances as a substitute for the Baggies so far this season since signing from Rotherham in the summer. Livermore, meanwhile, is highly rated by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and has had previous loan stints at MK Dons, Crewe and Derby. Fry told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "Reuben is a young player who just wants to play football. "He's not getting that opportunity at West Brom so he's raring to go with us. "He would have joined us before the Spurs game but West Brom needed him at the weekend because of a suspension. "Harry Redknapp rates Jake very highly and he will give us a bit of presence in midfield. "We also hope to have three more new arrivals confirmed by the weekend. They will all be loan deals apart from an Irish lad who is one for the future." The Posh were beaten 4-0 by Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Saturday in the FA Cup and Spurs now go on to play Leeds in the fourth round. Peterborough will be hoping the duo will be able to aid their cause in the Championship, as they currently lie rock-bottom with 18 points from 24 games.
