Torquay United have signed former Plymouth Argyle striker Micky Evans.
The 33-year-old leaves his hometown club after making over 400 appearances for The Pilgrims since arriving back at Home Park from Bristol Rovers in March 2001.
The former Southampton and West Bromwich Albion hit-man decided that now was the time to find pastures new and opted for a drop to League Two with nearby rivals Torquay.
Evans was delighted to make the short move to the South Devon club, as The Gulls aim to improve on last season's struggling campaign near the foot of The Football League.
"I'm pleased to have signed, I'm a Devon lad and I've always had a soft spot for Torquay United," Evans told Torquay's official website.
"I can't wait for next season to start and I'm looking forward to working with some of my old mates."
