Pool land Lasley

Blackpool have bolstered their squad with the signing of Keith Lasley from Plymouth.

Blackpool have bolstered their squad with the signing of Keith Lasley from Plymouth.

The versatile midfielder has joined on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old is now set to make his Pool debut against Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday.

"He can play anywhere across the midfield and he is going to be an asset to the squad," said Blackpool boss Simon Grayson.

"I am delighted to have recruited Keith and he is another player who has Championship experience and knows how to play at this level.

"His workrate, attitude and commitment is first class and I'm pleased we've been able to complete the deal."

Meanwhile, Grayson confirmed his intention to offer a long-term deal to midfielder Marcus Bean - who arrived in January from QPR on a contract until the end of the season.

"He's a player I rate highly and I will be sitting down with him in the very near future to try and thrash out a two-year deal."

Neil Wood is also on a deal until the end of the season after signing from Coventry and, like with Bean, Grayson is looking at an improved contract for him.

"I have seen enough to suggest he could be an asset to the team," said Grayson.
