After a goalless first half, Plymouth looked to be well on their way to victory after goals from Graham Coughlan (50) and Ian Stonebridge (52 - pictured) gave the home side a 2-0 lead, but a Brian McGlinchey own goal after 67 minutes gave Torquay hope. The away side were then given the chance to get back on level terms when McGlinchey felled substitute Eifion Williams and Logan hammered the ball home to seal a share of the spoils.
Luton Town took advantage of Plymouth's draw by closing the gap at the top-of-the-table to just three points with a 2-1 win at Oxford. Andy Scott gave the home side an unlikely lead 26 minutes, but Dean Crowe levelled matters just before half time. Matthew Spring - assisted by Crowe - then rifled home the winner just 42 seconds into the second half to give Luton three crucial points.
Kidderminster moved into the top-half of the table with a 4-1 win over Rochdale at Aggborough. Danish star Bo Henriksen struck a brace (4 & 44) before Michael Oliver pulled one back just before half time to give Dale hope, but Mark Blake (51) and Dean Bennett (84) made sure it was a comfortable win for The Harriers.
Exeter were surprisingly beaten 3-0 by Swansea City at St James' Park. Steve Watkin pounced twice (57 pen & 69), before Jonathan Coates sealed a win for the troubled Swans with just four minutes left.
Southend came from behind at Roots Hall to defeat Rushden & Diamonds 4-2. Gary Butterworth (5) and Scott Partridge (35) gave the away side a 2-0 lead going into half time, but The Shrimpers came back strong in the second half. Leon Cort (50) and Barrington Belgrave (59) brought the home side back on level terms before Tes Bramble and Belgrave again doubled their advantage to secure a 4-2 win.
A last minute equaliser from on-loan star Jeff Smith gave Macclesfield a share of the points against bottom-of-the-table Halifax Town at Moss Rose. Steve Bushell gave Town the lead after 33 minutes, but their task was made even harder when defender Andy Woodward was dismissed just before the hour.
The Shaymen looked to be hanging on for a valuable three points but then Smith - on loan from Bolton - grabbed the equaliser.
Bristol Rovers put a bit of space between themselves and the bottom sides with a convincing 5-3 win over Leyton Orient. Nathan Ellington smashed two early goals (25 & 28) before Latvian Vitalijs Astafjevs then made it 3-0 just after half time. Steve Watts pulled on back for Orient, before Ellington completed his hat-trick on 73 minutes. On-loan Wayne Gray then made it 4-2, but Sergio Ommel sealed the points with his goal two minutes from the end, although their was still time for Gray to score his second in stoppage time.
Cheltenham Town moved into eight place and within touching distance of a play-off spot after they defeated Shrewsbury 1-0 at Whaddon Road. Former Port Vale striker Tony Naylor scored the winner after 26 minutes.
