Cardiff defender Juan Cala has been banned for three games after a Football Association improper conduct charge was upheld.
Cala was charged following an incident in the tunnel at the end of last month's defeat at Sunderland.
The Spaniard, who was sent off during the game, denied the charge and requested a personal hearing.
But an independent commission found him guilty and imposed a suspension on top of a £12,000 fine.
Cala will now miss relegated Cardiff's final match of the season at home to Chelsea and the first two games of next term.
