Danish prospect Ibrahim Mansaray is ready to show his worth at Championship Cardiff City.
The 19-year-old finally put pen to paper last week after his international clearance finally came through, having started training with the club last month.
The former Brondby midfielder has impressed Cardiff's coaches with a string of impressive displays for their youth side.
Mansaray, though has been carrying a niggling Achilles injury which has hampered his progress - but a new specially fitted insole to his boot looks to have solved the problem.
Now Mansaray is targeting a long-term deal and making a big impact with Cardiff City.
"I am really happy everything is sorted, even my injury issue is now resolved thanks to a little thing like part of your boot - but it is great and I am looking forward to playing," he told Sky Sports.
"I came to England and trained with Peckham United who were great, that helped me get to Cardiff and now I hope I can push on from here.
"I am confident my abilities and hope I can earn a longer term deal with Cardiff, they have been great and now it is up to me to show then what I can do."
