Spireites extend Wilson loan

League Two outfit Chesterfield have extended the loan spell of Sunderland goalkeeper Ben Wilson for a further three games.

The 20-year-old was signed last month as cover after first-choice keeper Tommy Lee suffered a shoulder injury that has seen him miss the club's last nine fixtures. Wilson has performed the understudy role to Richard O'Donnell and will continue to do so until after the Spireites' game with Barnet on October 27, by which time they hope to have Lee back available.
