Bluebirds winger has no regrets at having snubbed move elsewhere

Peter Whittingham is convinced that he has made the right decision in continuously brushing off speculation and remaining fully committed to Cardiff. The Bluebirds winger was reported to have been the subject of a sizeable bid from West Ham during the January transfer window, while Premier League outfit West Brom were also believed to be interested. Whittingham brushed off the rumours to focus on his football and has played a leading role for Cardiff in their efforts to secure promotion out of the Championship. He says he has no regrets at having snubbed a move elsewhere, as the Bluebirds are a club heading in the right direction. "I'm settled at the club," said Whittingham. "There was talk of clubs being interested and bids being made in January. "But I have always said that I wanted to stay and that's what I have done."
