Revell ready for promotion bid

Rotherham striker Alex Revell insists belief is the key to his side's promotion push in the second half of the season.

The Millers, who were among pre-season favourites to go up, have had an inconstant campaign and sit in 11th place, four points off the play-offs. They endured a miserable autumn, winning one game of 10, but Revell believes they came out of that run stronger for it and are realistic promotion contenders. "With those games when we didn't win, no matter what team you're in, it would have tested the group of players, because no matter what you do, you doubt yourself a little bit," he said. "But the manager and the assistant believe in what we have got and so do the players and we have come out of it with positives. "We need to carry on believing that we are the best side in the league and if we can do that then I believe not just the play-offs, but automatic promotion can be our aim."
