Cardiff will pay their respects to Mike Dye, the Wales fan who died before Tuesday's Euro 2012 qualifier against England.
The Bluebirds will observe a minute's silence before Saturday's Championship game against Doncaster, with both teams set to wear black armbands.
The 44-year-old victim - a long-time Cardiff fan who wrote about the team on the CardiffCityForum internet site - was beaten to death outside Wembley Stadium before Wales' 1-0 defeat.
Dye was found with head injuries on a concourse area outside the turnstiles at the venue at around 7.20pm, with paramedics revealing he had also suffered a heart attack before being rushed to a north London hospital.
Honoured
A Cardiff statement read: "On Saturday Cardiff City are honoured to pay respects to Mike Dye. Following consultation with the family via the supporters' club, the following has been arranged:
"We have invited members of Mike's family to the game along with [Wales manager] Gary Speed and [Football Association of Wales chief executive] Jonathan Ford as representatives of the FAW.
"Both Cardiff City and Doncaster Rovers will be wearing black armbands as a mark of respect, while before the game we will be holding a minute's silence, with Gary Speed joining both managers pitchside.
"Supporters have arranged to gather at the old Ninian Park gates at 2pm on Saturday, while details of a collection are online via supporters messageboards and social networking sites.
"On Friday afternoon Robert Earnshaw represented both Cardiff City and the FAW by laying flowers at the gates. We are sure that supporters from both clubs will play their part in paying suitable respects on Saturday."
