Noone quite fond of Withdean

Brighton winger Craig Noone admits he has mixed feelings about leaving the Withdean Stadium.

The League One champions will play their final game at their unpopular temporary home against Huddersfield on Saturday before moving to their brand new Amex Stadium next season. But Noone, who joined Albion from Plymouth Argyle in January, says he has grown fond of the ill-suited athletics ground which the club have been stuck in for the past 12 years. "It's been a nice place for me because the crowd have got behind me," he said. "I've enjoyed playing here but while it may be sad to leave, we are all going to a brand new stadium. "We sell 8,000 tickets every week at Withdean and we know we are going to double that at the Amex - it's going to be unbelievable."
