Aron Gunnarsson has admitted his future at Coventry is up in the air with talks still ongoing over a new deal at the Ricoh Arena.
The Iceland international midfielder has just two months remaining on his current deal and lengthy talks with the club's hierarchy have failed to provide a breakthrough.
And with manager Aidy Boothroyd axed by the Sky Blues at the start of this week, the former AZ Alkmaar man is in the dark as to where he will be playing next season.
Asked whether the current predicament over his future is a bit unsettling, Gunnarsson replied: "Yeah, it is, but what can you say? These things happen and you just have to deal with it.
"But I've still got a contract until the end of the season and I'm just going to see what happens.
Talks
"There's been talks I think but I don't know how it's going, it's Ray (Ranson, chairman) and my agent who are speaking, like I said, I'd rather get three points than think about that at the moment."
When asked whether he wants to pen a new deal in the summer, the 21-year-old added: "It all depends on what is going to happen, I don't know who is going to be the manager.
"I like it here, I've started playing well again and I'm enjoying it. Last year I didn't really want to stay because I wasn't enjoying it but I am again. I really hope we can sort something out.
"I haven't spoken to any other teams, there's been a bit of interest from other clubs but I'm not really thinking about it because I'm still on a contract here and even though you're allowed to speak to other clubs I'm committed to Coventry until my contract is up."
