Cardiff have completed the signing of David Forde from Derry City.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper agreed terms and underwent a medical with Dave Jones's side last month, but now he has formally sealed his move to Ninian Park after the transfer window opened.
Forde, formerly with West Ham, is delighted to be back in the English game.
"Exciting things are happening at Cardiff, they are near the top of the Championship and they've got news of a new 30,000 stadium," said Forde.
"It's a club going in all the right directions, it's a great city and I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead."
