Cardiff City centre back Danny Gabbidon has won the Championship Player of the Month for January.
The Wales international's recognition follows Bluebirds boss Lennie Lawrence being awarded the Manager of the Month award for last month.
Gabbidon was instrumental in the South Wales club taking three victories and a draw in the opening month of 2005.
The Ninian Park side conceded just one goal in their league matches to help their cause near the foot of the Championship table.
