Swindon manager Andy King insists he has had no contact for Sam Parkin.Swindon Town manager Andy King insists he has had no contact with Cardiff City regarding Sam Parkin.
Cardiff are chasing a new striker following the sale of Robert Earnshaw to West Brom and are rumoured to be planning a £400,000 bid for Parkin.
The 23-year-old has scored over 50 goals in two years at The County Ground and is a target of The Bluebirds.
But Robins boss King has not heard anything from Cardiff, regarding their interest in his key forward.
King said: "I've heard the rumours but no-one from Cardiff has spoken to me about Sam Parkin."
Meanwhile, King is awaiting a response from Gillingham over his bid for Darius Henderson.
The hit-man has netted four goals in as many appearances during a loan spell with Swindon and King wants to secure Henderson permanently.
There is rival interest in the hot shot and King is anxiously waiting for The Gills to comment on his bid for Henderson.
He added: "I have approached Andy Hessenthaler who is speaking to his chairman (Paul Scally) but as yet I have heard nothing back."
