SIX FROM PROMOTED TRIO IN PFA XI

SIX players from the three promoted sides in Division Three were named in the PFA Team of the Season at the annual awards ceremony on Sunday night.

Mike Pollitt and Steve Blatherwick were rewarded for their outstanding season with Chesterfield by being named in the side, while Robert Earnshaw and Bobby Zamora's goalscoring exploits for Cardiff and Brighton respectively were also rewarded.

They were joined by Danny Cullip (Brighton) and Josh Low (Cardiff) as the side was based unsurprisingly on the sides who have fared so well this season.

Despite scrapping for their league status, Barnet are represented with their gifted midfielder Darren Currie, while Hartlepool's outstanding midfielder Tommy Miller was also named.

Scunthorpe United's former West Ham United midfielder Lee Hodges is also in the side and Leyton Orient's promising full-back Matt Lockwood is also named.

Full Team: Pollitt (Chesterfield), Low (Cardiff), Lockwood (Leyton Orient), Blatherwick (Chesterfield), Cullip (Brighton), Hodges (Scunthorpe), Currie (Barnet), Simpson (Blackpool), Miller (Hartlepool), Zamora (Brighton), Earnshaw (Cardiff).
