Sheffield Wednesday have wrapped up the signing of former West Bromwich Albion full-back Joe Mattock on a three-year contract.
Mattock was released by the Baggies at the end of last season after enjoying loan spells in the Championship with Portsmouth and Brighton & Hove Albion.
The former England Under 21 international was linked with a permanent move to Brighton, while Crystal Palace and the Owls' local rivals, Sheffield United, were also rumoured to hold an interest.
However, Sky Sports revealed earlier this week that the Owls were closing in on the signing of the 22-year-old and the deal has now been finalised.
The left-back becomes manager Dave Jones' third signing since he guided Wednesday to promotion from League One.
Jones has already added former England goalkeeper Chris Kirkland and Oldham Athletic defender Kieran Lee to his squad for next season.
