Megson eyes Bodde capture

Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson has confirmed his interest in Swansea midfielder Ferrie Bodde.

Bodde, 29, has been ravaged by a cruciate knee ligament injury, which has restricted him to just four appearances since February 2010, in recent times. The Dutchman had a third operation in October and Megson said: "I tried to sign Ferrie quite a few years ago when I was at Bolton. "At that time he had really bad luck with cruciate problems and he's been out for a long time. "He's a really good player. I don't know if anything will come off. It might suit Swansea, it might certainly suit Wednesday, it might suit Ferrie. "It's early days yet, but it's certainly something I would be interested in. I'd need to speak to [Swansea manager] Brendan Rodgers and [chairman] Huw Jenkins about it."
