Skysports.com understands Bury are poised to sign Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke on loan.
Coke has found himself down the pecking order at Sheffield Wednesday this season under Gary Megson.
The former Motherwell star has not featured in the league for the Owls this term with his only appearances coming in the Carling Cup and JPT Trophy.
Bury manager Richie Barker is keen to bolster his squad before the close of the transfer window and has lined up a deal for Coke.
If Coke moves to Gigg Lane it would be the second bit of transfer dealing between the two clubs in the last 24 hours after Ryan Lowe moved to Hillsborough.
