Sheffield Wednesday boss Gary Megson is thrilled his side maintained their 100% home record with a 3-2 win over Scunthorpe.

Gary Madine scored twice with Ben Marshall also on target while Bobby Grant and Mark Duffy scored for the visitors. Megson said: "We've played four games here and won the lot and we've got to try and keep that going. "There were times when we were under a bit of pressure and Scunthorpe had the odd opportunity. The lad (Chris) Dagnall was causing us a few problems and our defensive display wasn't as solid as I'd expect. "We want to win and score as many goals as possible. I was pleased with Gary Madine's performance. Centre-forwards will always be judged on the amount of goals they get but it was a good all-round performance from Gary." Megson also felt referee James Linington was right to reverse his initial decision to award Scunthorpe a penalty - following David Prutton's challenge on Dagnall - when Wednesday were 1-0 up. He added: "I didn't think it was even close to being a penalty in the first place. The linesman was strong in telling the referee he'd made a mistake."
