Miller slams Owls boss Megson

Huddersfield new boy Tommy Miller has criticised former boss Gary Megson for forcing him out of Sheffield Wednesday.

The 32-year-old claims he had been promised a new deal at Hillsborough, only for Megson to change his mind. Miller told the Yorkshire Post: "The manager had indicated to me that I was going to get a deal three weeks before the end of the season. I was promised a new contract but it didn't materialise. "That's football, I suppose, and it shouldn't surprise me anymore." However Miller insists the chance to move to the Galpharm Stadium might be a blessing in disguise. "I was delighted when Huddersfield came in because of how they did last season. They also play football the right way - they get it down and knock it around - and that's what I want to do."
