Port Vale top scorer Luke Rodgers insists he will not be unsettled by speculation linking him with a move to a bigger club.
While the Valiants have struggled this season - they are second from bottom in League One - Rodgers has been in red hot form, netting nine goals in all competitions.
Reports have suggested Coca-Cola Championship sides Sheffield Wednesday and Blackpool are keeping an eye on the 25-year-old, who is under contract at Vale Park until 2009.
And while Rodgers admits he is flattered by any interest he insists he is happy at the club. He told the Sentinel: "My uncle phoned me to say it was in the paper but, apart from that, I don't know anything about it.
"It is nice when you hear stuff like that because you must be doing something well. But it won't unsettle me. It can only make you want to do better if you believe higher clubs are watching you, but I love it at Vale."
