Scunthorpe United defender Richard Hinds looks set to leave the club for Sheffield Wednesday after agreeing a two-year contract at Hillsborough.
Hinds' move is now dependent upon the 26-year-old passing a medical with the Owls.
A main attraction for Hinds is the opportunity to team up with his former Scunthorpe manager, and current Wednesday boss, Brian Laws who left Glanford Park last autumn.
"Richard is a utility player who can play good football," Laws told Scunthorpe's official website.
Hinds was a regular in the Scunthorpe team as they won the League One title last season.
