Sheffield Wednesday boss Paul Sturrock has confirmed Craig Rocastle is in talks with Swindon, but reports he has joined The Robins are wide of the mark.
Injuries have hindered Rocastle's appearances for The Owls since Christmas and Sturrock is happy to loan him out in order to gain match fitness.
The midfielder joined from Chelsea just over a year ago and played a role in the club's promotion to The Championship, but will now be looking to bolster Iffy Onuora's squad.
"The deal is not done yet. Some people have jumped the gun," Sturrock told the club's official website.
"But they have been in negotiations with us and it would be a deal until the end of the season."
