SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY boss Chris Turner has invited Norwich to make a cash offer for Leigh Bromby.

Norwich are keen to sign Bromby after his loan spell at Carrow Road expired earlier this week.

The Canaries rejected an offer from Wednesday to swap Bromby for striker David Nielsen and Turner admitted "the ball is in Norwich's court" regarding Bromby.

"Allowing Leigh to stay there until the end of the season is no good to us," Turner told the Sheffield Star. "If Norwich come up with an offer, we'd have to look at it. The ball is in their court."

Meanwhile, Wednesday have handed a trial to young defender Chris Glarvey as Turner looks to bolster his squad.

Glarvey has been playing for Wednesday's academy side and played in the reserves against Birmingham on Monday hoping to impress Turner.
