Bradley Hamilton has put pen to paper on a new one-year contract with Colchester, while three other players have also signed new deals.

The teenage midfielder finally made his first-team debut for the U's as a late substitute in the club's 4-2 home win over Tranmere at the end of April.

Young wingers Tosin Olufemi and Ryan Melaugh as well as goalkeeper Shaun Phillips have also penned two-year professional deals and join Freddie Ladapo and Alex Gilbey, who both progressed from the club's Academy last month.

Exciting wide man Drey Wright has also been offered two-year terms by United boss John Ward.
