Sky Sports understands that Bristol City are lining up a loan move for Fulham defender Matthew Briggs.
Briggs is highly regarded at Craven Cottage and had a run in the side at left-back last season when Carlos Salcido was out injured.
However, he has not pushed on to become a regular under Martin Jol and has had limited opportunities to impress this term.
Fulham may therefore be ready to send the 20-year-old out on loan to help his development, and it is understood that Bristol City are interested.
Derek McInnes' Robins are struggling towards the bottom of the Championship and will be looking to strengthen their squad this month.
