Heath keen to get over loss

Colchester's Matt Heath has urged his teammates to focus on their next fixture rather than dwelling on a 6-1 defeat to Stevenage.

The Boxing Day result was the U's worst defeat in 11 years and their heaviest ever at home, but Heath is seeing their next game against Exeter as an opportunity to bounce back from the humiliation. He told Gazette News: "We cannot forget about the Stevenage game, but at the same time, we have to look forward to the future. "Fortunately, we have another home game against Exeter on Saturday to try and put things right. "If we can beat Exeter, then three wins out of five doesn't look quite as bad, if you look at it overall."
