Skiverton wants more of the same

Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton urged his side to maintain their high standards after ending a run of four straight defeats at Colchester.

The Glovers managed a 2-2 draw but the U's looked like they were heading for a third successive win after goals from Andy Bond and Michail Antonio had cancelled out Gavin Massey's first-minute opener. But Massey, on loan from Watford, equalised in the second half to secure the Glovers a hard-earned point. Skiverton said: "We banished a few demons and ghosts from this game but the hard work is still to come and we have to make sure that we carry on playing with that same determination. "The supporters are fine if you put the effort in but they can't stomach it when we're not running around and we're not showing enough energy and look like we're fighting for the badge. "It's only happened for one and a bit games out of 11 or 12 now, but it's still not good enough. "We're in a tough league but we have to keep rallying and showing that to the supporters."
