Sheffield Wednesday striker Clinton Morrison believes getting a full pre-season will help him fire 20 goals this season.
The former Crystal Palace and Birmingham striker, who suffered a groin problem in Tuesday's friendly win over Rotherham, has missed the last two pre-seasons through injury and went on to struggle through the following campaigns.
But the 32-year-old has played a full part in Wednesday's preparations this summer and is confident it well benefit him greatly.
"I came off at half-time against Rotherham because my groin was sore. It has been sore all week because we have done a lot of running," said Morrison.
"I have not had a pre-season for two years. If I don't have a pre-season I am just playing catch-up.
"I definitely want to hit 20 goals. I should do that in this league, especially with the players we have got to create so if I don't score a lot I think it will be a disappointment."
