Scott delighted to reach agreement with midfielder Brentford midfielder Marcus Bean has signed a two-year extension to his contract. The 25-year-old former QPR and Blackpool playmaker, who joined the Bees in May last year, has committed himself to Griffin Park until 2012. "We obviously rated Marcus enough to want to sign him in the first place and he has continued to improve," said manager Andy Scott. "We feel at his age that he can continue to progress while he has become an integral part of what we are trying to build here over the next few years. "We are therefore delighted he has accepted the contract extension."
